I voted with an absentee ballot because I will be out of the area on February 5th, but I voted for Barack Obama.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has already spent far more time in the White House than the rest of the presidential field combined.

Since Mrs. Clinton began her independent political career in 2000 by running for the seat in the New York Senate being vacated by Daniel Patrick Moynihan, the assumption in political circles was that her ultimate goal is a return to Pennsylvania Avenue, this time as the spouse in charge. And for almost as long, the expectation has been that Mrs. Clinton would begin the race for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination as the front-runner -- as she has.

But what few people expected was that Mrs. Clinton would be running as the most moderate of the leaders in the Democratic field, or that her most fervent detractors, at least in the primary season, would be to her left.

During the two White House terms of her husband, former President Bill Clinton, Mrs. Clinton was for the most part lionized by the party's liberal wing, and so despised by many conservative "Hillary Haters" that Republicans were almost as active as Democrats in promoting the idea that someday she might run for president.

On 26 September 1960, 70 million U.S. viewers tuned in to watch Senator John Kennedy of Massachusetts and Vice President Richard Nixon in the first-ever televised presidential debate.

John Edwards said Saturday he is "definitely in the race for the duration" as he sought to reassure supporters who may be worried that he can balance a presidential campaign with his wife's cancer diagnosis.

We will have clothes that can change colors at the touch of a button with the help of magnets. We will only buy different styles and the colors will change as we want them.

We will be able to change the graphic on t-shirts, then wash out the graphic and try something new. Shorts will be one size fits all, they will have Velcro to make them any size you need.

Our shoes will be completely clear, with Nike air. They will look like a see-through swatch watch. The shoes will be made out of gortex and a secret rubber. Nike will still be the front runner but jump man 23 will be in the top three.

Suits will be about the same, damn business people! The ties will only chock you even more!

Computer Keyboards in 2017

In 2017, computer keyboards will be obsolete. Everything will be voice actuated. I wasted my time on typing class in high school. All the typist that can type 100 words a minute will be out of a job.

The alternative to voice commands will be inferred keyboards. I have seen a computer keyboard that is a hologram projected on the desk and a person just types like a keyboard is their. This will be for the Generation X that don't want to switch to voice activated keyboards.

In fact, everyone should switch right now. We would get a lot more done at work....oh work, right. Too much noise, well then maybe we will just think about what we want to type and then it will display on the screen.

Anyone should be able to attend Harvard, Yale, Stanford, or any other school they want. These schools should publish all information on the Internet like MIT. You can go to the MIT Website and see all the information that the students get.

School in ten years should evolve into an online campus where anyone that wants to take an online class can. Now I understand that only a select few should graduate and be alumni because the more selective the higher the prestige. I am just saying that information should be available on the Internet.

I have watched classes from Stanford streamed on the Internet. Even if it was pay-per-view I think a lot of people around the world would pay to watch classes from Harvard and other top schools.

The University of Phoenix should look into online learning from all schools and teachers from around the world.

First of all it won't be called the Playstation and second the console will look like your computer. The xbox will be a computer with a monitor called a SDTV (super duper flat screen).

Your console will look like a projector with a computer hard drive. It will be an all-in-one machine playing TV, Movies, Video Games, Internet Browsing, and Video-Conferencing for starters.

All video games, movies, and tv shows will be avaiable on the Internet for downloading and TV will still be broadcasted but with Tivo style On Demand viewing.

Not only will you be able to watch tv on NBC and CBS but you will be able to watch independent tv shows made by you and me on the YouTube Channel. Very similar to Internet Radio from the masses, it will be television broadcasting from the masses. Wayne's World, party time, excellent!

Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo will still be in the video game console/all-in-one machine racket, but Dell will be the front runner. They will come up with the first all-in-one computer/tv/movie player/Internet browser/tivo/?

The more we use email the less we will use the Post Office. Everyone predicts that emails will cost money? I don't believe it. The emailing services like Outlook will cost us money but actual emails will not. Mobile Device activation, phone minutes, and calling plans will cost us but Instant Messenger and Email will be free.

The Post Office will be still around but very costly. $1, you know what it might be even more than $1.

Capitalism slows down technologic advances. It took forever for the CD to overtake the Cassette Tape, a little less time for the MP3 to take over for the CD. We could have something super advanced but we don't and we won't, as long as corporate america is in charge.

Although we will find the cure to Aids, other viruses may not necesarly be cured, instead the will not be passed. We have mapped the human genome and made great advancements in medicine, but this will not be the reason for the cure to the common cold.

Tele-Communication

Technology will increase our life spans and decrease the among of deadly viruses within the world. What will decrease the amount of deadly viruses and increase our life span?

The answer is tele-commuting, we will be working at home more and have less physical interaction with other people. Technology will facilitate us working from home, contacting relatives by video conferencing devices, and purchasing anything we want from our mobile devices. Without interaction we will not pass on viruses thus they will not evolve and become more resilent.

In 2017, technology will increase our life span and cure the common cold.

In the 1970s the invention of the video game brought us Pong, a great game but a two-player game. Many of the subsequent games were either one or two player games but most two player games needed two human players.

More of us wanted to play video games but we didn't always have someone else to play with, the computer player was born. A player that had three levels of hardness and could play two player games with one human player like chess, 3d tic tac toe. Then came sports games.

Artificial Intelligence

Over the years everyone got used to the computer player and artificial intelligence made playing the computer fun. In 2017, the computer player will still be an option but will be inactive by the users of video games

Internet Players

In 2017 most games will be Internet based. You will be able to download and play video games on the Internet. There will be an abundance of Internet players to play any game at any time. No more playing against the computer. 2017 will mark the beginning of the end of the computer player.
